Minty and refreshing, this is one of Nola’s most popular cocktails, made with house-infused cucumber vodka.

2          ounces cucumber-infused Cathead vodka, recipe follows

1/2 to 1           ounce St Germaine

1/2      ounce cucumber mint syrup, method follows

1/2      ounce simple syrup

Combine all in a shaker filled with ice. Fill a Mason jar with ice. Shake and strain into Mason jar. Top with lemon lime soda and club soda. Garnish with a cucumber wheel and fresh mint.

Cucumber-infused vodka: In a quart-sized Mason jar, add 1 1/2 to 2 peeled and seeded cucumbers chopped into cubes. Fill to the top with vodka. Let sit for 3 days in a dark place at room temperature, shaking once a day. Strain. Keep refrigerated.

Cucumber-mint simple syrup:  Dissolve 1 cup of sugar in 1 cup of warm water. Add 1 peeled and sliced cucumber and 2 bunches of mint leaves. Cover and steep. (The longer it steeps, the more intense the flavor.) Strain into a squirt bottle.
