The submission period for our annual Delta Dog Photo Contest is now open! Our dogs play a special role in our lives—they are our loyal companions, protectors, and trusted sidekicks, and they bring us great joy.
Find your favorite photos of your pup and submit in the following four categories:
Adopted/Rescued Dogs
Candid Canines
Puppies
Sporting Dogs
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Submission dates: Friday, July 26 – Friday, August 2
• Participants may submit ONLY ONE photo per category
• If submitting to more than one category, no photos may be repeated
• All submitted photos must be high-resolution photos of at least 300 dpi
• Poor quality images will not be accepted
• No screenshots will be accepted
• Quality, composition, and clarity of all submissions are determined by the editing team
VOTING GUIDELINES
Voting dates: Monday, August 5 – Sunday, August 11
• You may vote ONCE PER DAY for your favorite photos in each category (To vote for more than one, you will need to hit the back button)
• The photos receiving the most votes will determine category winners: First, Second, and Third place in each category
• One Overall Editors’ Choice winner will be selected by the Delta Magazine editing team
• One Overall Readers’ Choice winner will be determined by the photo receiving the most reader votes
• All winning photos will be published in the September/October issue, and the owners will receive a complimentary one-year subscription
• The two Overall winners will win an 11×14 custom painted pet portrait by artist Maggi Mosco (@maggimoscoart)
