Meant to be enjoyed at room temperature, Brie is ideal to serve outdoors. Grilling it adds a smoky intensity you will love.
1 round brie cheese
1 to 2 T butter, melted
Fig preserves, or your favorite jam
Sliced or toasted baguette
Preheat the grill to medium-high. Brush both sides of the brie with butter and grill until charred, about two minutes per side. Watch closely, the heat needs to be high enough to char the rind of the cheese without it over melting. Have tongs and a spatula ready to make the flip.
Transfer to a cheese board and serve along with your favorite jam and your choice of bread or crostini.
